Nga Lakayeu the fising festival in Bhaktapur

Nga Lakayeu (ङ्गा लाकेगु)  represents the most famous and oldest Nepali Festival. This which is also called Machha Marney Jatra in Nepali.  This festival is especially celebrated among core Newar Community in Bhaktapur district.

This festival starts every year from Magh month in nepali calendar which is  between January from English Calendar continues for next 6 months.one of the   beautiful part of this festival is the romantic dance of Seto Bhairav & Mahakali godesses. 

Suti Bhaila is white Bhairav where '' children whistle to tease this bhairab. then the bhairab catch among them.
